The Nilambur Municipality takes initiative to give the Physically & Mentally handicapped members of its society free expert Medical Advice and treatment by Doctors, during a Medical Camp held for them in association with MES Medical College, Perithalmanna. This came as a boon to those bed ridden patients who were given free transportation to the camp and were brought in on wheel chairs and by helping hand who carried them in. This camp was inaugurated by the Malappuram District collector Mr Biju . During his speech he appreciated the move taken by Aryadan Shoukath and Nilambur Municipality to conduct a camp of this stature and offered to give financial aid, if this venture can be taken further and implemented as a comprehensive medical program.
