The No campaign seems to do nothing but try to scare the Scots into staying. Can anyone explain if we are actually better together? I dont know why either of us are, and arent we both likely to be better off separate? Let them go and just try to stay friends, and amicably share custody of North Sea Oil. They can even have Wales every other weekend. The weasly plea on Sunday that Devo Max can be on the table after all is pathetic and embarrassing, but most of all I dont understand why theyre making the effort... And thats not because Im anti-Scottish, its because I dont know what the problem is for either side if they go, except when it comes to our medal haul in the velodrome. The interviews with random English people on TV basically sound like I hope they stay because it would be nice if they do. Boring... No it wont, it will be the same as it is now with 50% of Scotland wishing they were gone. If they go well still be joined, we can still visit, presumably we can still work in either country (ok, if Europe will have them, but assuming they do). We can still eat battered mars bars if we want to.
