The Nonprofit Collective is sharing an AWESOME VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: *Make a Difference Day with Heal One World* Heal One World : Where is Arlington Heights? Come get to know your neighbors, your neighborhood non-profit which provides free classes, like Tai Chi and Yoga. We noticed our area could use a clean sweep! Meeting at 10am and begin with a short meditation and then brief intro Tai Chi class to center and become focused. We will walk from the center to Queen Anne Rec Center, filling our recyclable bags with litter and introducing the neighborhood to our classes. At the park we will practice our tai chi, and then return back to the studio, with vegan food and a showing of the award winning film Pad Yatra: A Green Odyssey. Ending with a practice of beginner yoga (if its your first time its just fine!)
