The Nummos’ skin was primarily green, but, like the chameleon, it sometimes changed colours. Sometimes it had all the colours of the rainbow. When their spaceship moved in the clouds, it left a track of four colours that looked like a rainbow. It is quite possible that colour shifts occurred when the ship travelled near the speed of light. The Mistress of Speech, who was the seventh ancestor, was considered the hope for humanity. It is possible that the Rainbow Warriors mentioned by the Hopi are the Nummo Ancestors.
