First, a new CNN poll finds a dramatic reversal in the battle for Congress. A month ago, Democrats held a 50-42 advantage on a generic ballot, gauging basic party preference. The disastrous rollout of ObamaCare has driven a 10-point swing to the Republicans. The GOP now leads Democrats 49-47. More importantly, Republicans hold a 17-point advantage among Independents. Second, Obama’s job approval rating averaged 40 percent in the Gallup daily tracking poll over the last week, tying his lowest-ever weekly average from late summer. Here’s the best one, though: With a stagnant economy, a plethora of scandals and a failed health care law topping his resume, Obama ranked number 17 on GQ’s list of the 25 Least Influential People of 2013. People are figuring out that all Obama does is fail and try to blame others for it.
