The Obliteration of Khadijahs House, and the Beginning and End of Mohammeds Violently Iconoclastic Religion If the Salafist Sect of Saudi Sunni Islam is so eager to erase all of the most important evidences of Mohammeds life and Muslim history, what do such history-hating fanatics have planned for the rest of the World and Humanity? In their extreme idolatry-hating iconoclasm, the Salafists consider even the slightest visible representation or suggestion of someone as memorable or venerable to be an inducement to idolatry. Thus they have ruthlessly carried-out their Global campaign to destroy all religious shrines and related historical sites, even in their own Holy City of Mecca, the very historical heart of Mohammeds violently iconoclastic Religion itself. Of course the profound hypocrisy of the Saudi Salafists anti-idolatry campaign is evident in the way that they actually idolize their own Arab Royalty, their so-called Muslim Clerics and their own Kaaba and Muslim Shrines in Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem. Pilgrims performing the hajj this week will search in vain for Mecca’s history. ... Mecca ...has been reduced to a monolithic religious entity where only one, ahistoric, literal interpretation of Islam is permitted, and where all other sects, outside of the Salafist brand of Saudi Islam, are regarded as false. ... The “guardians” of the Holy City, the rulers of Saudi Arabia and the clerics, have a deep hatred of history. They want everything to look brand-new. Meanwhile, the sites are expanding to accommodate the rising number of pilgrims, up to almost three million today from 200,000 in the 1960s. The initial phase of Mecca’s destruction began in the mid-1970s, and I was there to witness it. Innumerable ancient buildings, including the Bilal mosque, dating from the time of the Prophet Muhammad, were bulldozed. ..... The few remaining buildings and sites of religious and cultural significance were erased more recently. The Makkah Royal Clock Tower, completed in 2012, was built on the graves of an estimated 400 sites of cultural and historical significance, including the city’s few remaining millennium-old buildings. Bulldozers arrived in the middle of the night, displacing families that had lived there for centuries. The complex stands on top of Ajyad Fortress, built around 1780, to protect Mecca from bandits and invaders. The house of Khadijah, the first wife of the Prophet Muhammad, has been turned into a block of toilets. The Makkah Hilton is built over the house of Abu Bakr, the closest companion of the prophet and the first caliph. As shocking as this complete destruction of some of the most historically significant sites of Islam is, it should more importantly serve as a both a warning and a good omen for the rest of humanity. As an historian of World History, I have seen how all forms of Sunni and Shia Islamic iconoclasm have violently rampaged across the World murdering the idolators in their path, and destroying all of the enduring memorials of such peoples, destroying (or stealing and Islamicizing) their literatures, sacred art and artifacts, their architecture and even their mortuaries, memorials and burial grounds. Thus have iconoclastic Muslims attempted to destroy all of the evidence of Humanity before Mohammed, by destroying or corrupting and Islamicizing all of the physical reminders of pre-Mohammedan and non-Mohammedan History. Humanitys sacred literature and other enduring sacred art, architecture and artifacts are the physical reminders that are in a sense the hard-wiring of our Planets Collective Memory. By destroying these physical reminders from the Earth, they are effectively being destroyed from the Memory of Humanity. Thus has the destructive anti-historical Religion of Mohammed sought to conquer the entire Earth and Everyone in it, by destroying the very evidence of Humanitys most ennobling thought and endeavours, those that have made us civilized HUMANS in the very best sense of the word. The Sharia Law observing iconoclastic Followers of Mohammed have sought to replace all of the Sacred Traditions of the World...Humanitys Libraries of the Self-Revelation of God and the writings of the Saints, with the one small Book of Mohammed. Thus the history-hating iconoclastic Religion of Mohammed, whether mainstream Sharia-observant Sunni or Shia, is a threat to the past (memory), present and future of every human being, the Followers of Mohammed included. As Humanitys present and future is predicated on our accurate understanding of our past, by destroying and corrupting our memory of our past, the Followers of Mohammed are seeking to conquer the domain of our future too. Typically, after the Jihadi example of Mohammed himself, today the militant Jihadist Followers of Mohammed will attack a village of infidel un-believers and kill, kidnap and forcefully convert their captives. Killing-off the unconverted elders and indoctrinating the orphaned and kidnapped children, WHILE DESTROYING ALL PHYSICAL REMINDERS OF THEIR NON-MUSLIM PAST insures that the new generation will be only and fully Muslim. Thus the Followers of Mohammed have violently conquered vast areas of the Earth before. Murdering whole generations of idolatrous elders and destroying entire cultures, they have held onto those Regions by first destroying their indigenous Elders, their Literatures and their Idols / Sacred Art and the other physical evidence of their previous Sacred Civilizations. Thus by killing their elders, destroying the evidence and heritage of entire peoples, orphaning, kidnapping and indoctrinating their youth, the iconoclastic Islamists have converted whole generations of conquered peoples. On the pretext of combating HIS imagined evil of idolatry, Mohammed and his militant Iconoclasts have ravaged, plundered and deprived Humanity of its collective memory of entire civilizations. So fanatical is this obsession with iconoclastic idolatry in Mohammeds Religion, that in Mecca we have now witnessed that in its furious compulsion to destroy idolatry, the Saudi Sunni Salafist Sect has even destroyed the most ancient sites of Mohammeds own Family and Companions! Yes, after centuries of warfare between the Followers of Mohammed and nearly every other People on Earth, some of the most sacred sites of Islam in Mecca have finally been destroyed by....MUSLIMS! How will a BILLION+ Muslims feel when they realize that the most ancient sites associated with Mohammed, his Wife and Patroness Khadijah and his closest Companion and Islams First Caliph, Abu Bakr, have been destroyed by the Protectors of Mecca, the Royal House of Saud? Apparently because of the Saudis Salafist fanaticism, these and hundreds of other historical (or traditional) sites have not been spared from Mohammeds own iconoclastic history-erasing bulldozers! Thus in its violently destructive anti-idolatry iconoclastic fanaticism, the Religion of Mohammed has finally turned-on its own History and begun to destroy ITSELF. History has shown that when a tyrannical system has become too powerful to be brought-down by any external force, it ultimately collapses of its own weight. Thus the question is not IF, but WHEN will Mohammeds iconoclastic Religion of Destruction finally destroy ITSELF? With the Saudi Sunni Salafists destruction of the Meccan houses of Khadijah and Abu Bakr, the actual places where the Religion of Mohammed began, the internal dis-integration and collapse of the Religion of Mohammed cannot be far behind. Does this mean that people will lose their faith in Allah? Does this mean that there will be an end to the Religion of Islam and no more Muslims? No. Of course not. But it will mean that many who profess faith in Allah will no longer identify primarily with either fanatical Sharia-observant Sunni OR Shia Islam. Instead there will be a Global rise of a new kind of non-denominational Islam that has been re-defined along more moderate and traditionally mystical Sufi guidelines. Faith in God as Allah is as old as as the Aramaic branch of the Semitic Languages. Thus long before Mohammed, the Aramaic/Arabic Language speaking Jews, cCatholics and Pagans called their Supreme Lord ALLAH, and even today the descendants of these peoples still do! Plus the non-Sharia-observant moderate Muslim Sufis who identify themselves with these pre-Mohammedan Allah-worshiping Traditions are eager to re-define Mohammed and Islam in the mystical image of their own more non-sectarian Sufi Saints. So as their mystical form of Sufism exists both within the dominant Sunni and sub-dominant Shia Sects of Islam, and these two Sharia-observant Muslim Sects begin to collapse, the liberalizing influences of non-sectarian moderate Sufism will begin to fill-in for the growing inadequacy of the Sunni and Shia leadership. As a result, a new Sufism-related Pan-Islamic Global Identity of moderate non-sectarian and non-Sharia-observant Muslims will gradually emerge from the self-destruction of Mohammeds fanatically murderous and iconoclastic Sunni and Shia Sects. This will be good for Muslims of all kinds, everywhere, and for the rest of the Human Family too. As Sufis are the historical repository of the practice of both Japa (privately) and Kirtan (congregationally) invoking the 99 Holy Names of Allah, the spreading of these Japa and Kirtan practices are sure to play an important part in the coming Pan-Islamic Sufi reformation of the Religion of Mohammed. 500 Years ago, in Bengal, the non-sectarian Sankirtan Movement of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai allied itself to the Mystical Sufi Tradition within Islam, thus pacifying the adversarial Muslim Leader the Chand Kazi, and interacting with the syncretistic Hindu-Muslim Movement of Guru Nanak (of the Sikh Tradition). In the last Century, following the example of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, the Satyagraha Sankirtan Movement of Mahatma Gandhi at least temporarily united MILLIONS of Hindus and Muslims in a peaceful demonstration of non-sectarian devotion to God. Now it is time for a GLOBAL non-sectarian Sankirtan Movement to unite ALL of Gods Devotees, in a World-wide expression of familial goodwill and genuinely transcendent Holy Love.
