The Oelwein City Council will tour the East Penn facilities in the former Donaldson building at 5:15 today, prior the 6 p.m. start of council proceedings. Oelwein Economic Development Coordinator Sally Falb is scheduled to give an update on the tech spec building in Industrial Park. The council will consider the three bids received for the 2013 Street Seal Coat Program. Proposals were submitted from Prairie Road Bilders of Hazleton, Concrete Foundations, Inc., of New Hampton and Blacktop Service Co., of Humboldt. The council will consider a motion to purchase meters at a total of $77,841 for the meter replacement/upgrade program.
