The Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans broadens the knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the visual arts and culture of the American South. The Ogden Museum’s Center for Southern Craft and Design supports this mission by offering Southern artists and craftsmen a platform to showcase their work in media including jewelry, ceramics, glassworks, woodworks, metalworks, and textiles, and by making available to the public products that celebrate the spirit of the South. All original Crafts in the Center for Southern Craft and Design are tax-exempt thanks to Louisiana’s Cultural Products Districts program.
