The Ohio Association for Justice recently presented Murray & Murray partner, Margaret M. Murray, with the Amicus Curiae award during the awards ceremony at its annual statewide convention. This award was presented to commend Margaret’s outstanding service to the legal community, through her commitment to following and raising awareness of policy changing developments in the courts and how the outcomes of those pending cases may affect Ohio’s citizens. The OAJ commended Ms. Margaret Murray’s instrumental role in pursuing the group’s mission through this time-honored mechanism to respectfully notify the courts of the full scope of consequences that may arise from any given Supreme Court case opinion. Ms. Murray has long dedicated herself to remaining vigilant about important judicial developments. She was also previously presented with the OAJ Amicus Curiae award in 2010 and has served as Chair of the OAJ Amicus Curiae Committee since 2009.
