The Orange City GEMS would like to invite both Mothers and Daughters to our kickoff Wednesday, September 25th at 6:45 PM @ Orange City First CRC. Girls, do you like to watch “American Idol” and see who wins? Have you ever considered showing off your talent? GEMS girls will have a chance to show off your talent to your class and moms at our kickoff night. You can perform by yourself or with a group. Please be ready to perform when you arrive. Judges will be videotaping and then they will decide on one overall winner. We are asking you to limit your talent to 3 minutes. There will be a sign-up sheet by the entrance door when you arrive. Need ideas - sing, dance, pretend to be ????, act like someone famous, read a passage, play an instrument, do a skit, or recite a poem. The possibilities are endless. We can’t wait to see what you come up with! It will be an exciting night! Please join us for a fun evening of talent, chocolate and smiles! You do not need to wear your GEMS t-shirts or scarves or bring your books this meeting.
