The Osage Beach Fire Protection District saw an increase in calls for service in 2014. The District ended the year with an increase of 9.67% over the previous year. For the year the Fire District ran a total of 1,837 calls for service, a general breakdown of these calls is as follows: Type of Call Count Medical 1,254 Fire (Structure, Vehicle, Boat, Brush) 157 Alarm 94 Rescue (Water, Car Accident, Search) 144 Misc. (Assist Police, Assist Public, Investigation) 162 Outside Agency Assist (Mutual Aid) 26 The District is compiling a in depth look at all 2014 activities to; include training, permits, inspections, response times and expects these to be released in the next few weeks.
