The Osage Flintknappers are keeping history alive at the Brady Showgrounds (Exit 111 off of I-70) all day today and Saturday, by showing individuals the craft of a by-gone era. The annual event, which is garnered to the sharing of ideas and know-how, is free to the public. Mike Moser, a facilitator of the event, said visitors will be shown how to make primitive art and arrows. These are just a few examples of the living history presentations being offered to the public. In addition, individuals are invited to purchase items at an auction on Saturday. Moser said starter kits are also for sale for individuals wanting to pursue the craft. The Osage Flintknappers have been portraying this sort of living history for 30 years.
