The PEARLS of Hampton County, a fund at the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, recently awarded $4,625 in grants that focused on the theme, “Womens Health.” Congratulations to Beaufort/Jasper/Hampton Comprehensive Health Services, CODA, Lawtonville Baptist Church and Low Country Rural Health Education Consortium for receiving a grant during this cycle. In addition, grants were also announced from the Betti Crosby – PEARLS Early Childhood Education Fund. The grants were awarded to Varnville Elementary and Hampton County First Steps.
