The Pants Collective OUT NOW The Pants Collective release their self-titled, debut EP to the world. Front man, songwriter and all round instrumentalist Andy Strachan who is renowned as the drummer for one of Australia’s most loved rock bands, The Living End, leads the Collective. In 2013, with some time off from the normally busy TLE touring schedule and much encouragement from friend and producer Paul ‘Woody’ Annison, Strachan jumped into the studio to record a couple of songs that the pair had been threatening to record for years. Finding it all a little daunting taking on the singing duties as well as playing drums (and in some songs play guitar, in a fairly unconventional way), Andy faced it all head on recording songs that he had up his sleeve for sometime as well as a few new tunes that were the result of some jam sessions with good mates. It was here the idea of The Pants Collective was formed. Featuring the single ‘Secrets’, The Pants Collective is seven tracks of distorted guitars, fuzzed out baselines and pounding drum grooves that will surely satisfy any rock ‘n’ roll lover.
