The Parliamentary Internship Programme (PIP) is currently accepting applications for the 2015-2016 Intern Year (deadline: January 31, 2015). It is an outstanding work-study opportunity for university graduates in all fields that provides invaluable experience for young Canadians seeking either academic or professional careers. The Programme offers a paid ($23,000) 10-month internship that gives Interns the opportunity to work for MPs on both sides of the House of Commons, participate in a weekly seminar, produce an original research paper and undertake comparative study tours to legislatures in Canada and abroad. All Canadians and Permanents Residents under the age of 35 with a university degree are eligible to apply. PIP is independent of government and strictly non-partisan. It is an initiative of the Canadian Political Science Association delivered in collaboration with the House of Commons that is supported by public and private sector sponsors. For more information, and to submit an application, please visit the PIP Website at pip-psp.org. All applications must be submitted online before midnight on January 31, 2015. https://pip-psp.org/en/apply/how-to-apply
