The Patan Appellate Court on Wednesday issued an interim order to the Ministry of Youth and Sports asking it to hold its decision against the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) officials. Following a writ filed by the Association’s officials on Tuesday, the single bench of Judge Satyaraj Gurung issued an interim order against the Ministry directing it to hold the decision until next order on July 9. The Ministry on June 11 had forwarded the correspondence to the CAN avoiding its remaining representatives from their daily duties despite they have got the clean cheat. Of the total 31 alleged officials, 21 officials have already been proved clean, says CAN acting general secretary Uttam Karmacharya.
