The Path Of Righteousness Thursday 28/08/14 2 Timothy 2:22 So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. Righteousness is the state of moral perfection required by God. (Jack Zavada) Christs righteousness is credited to our account and makes us holy before God. This path of righteousness entails the need to walk not according to the flesh but according to the spirit, for those who live in the flesh set their minds on things of the flesh but those living according to the spirit set their minds on the things of the spirit as it is written in Romans 8:4-6. The holy scriptures further says For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the spirit is life and peace. The path of righteousness availeth to us all. And the choice is ours . In this path of righteousness there is life and in its pathway there is no death~Proverbs 12:28 May The Spirit Of God purifies us and lead us through the path of righteousness...
