The Pathfinder lives again. My 1993 SE-V6, that is. After two weeks in the shop, one to seek out exactly which parts were giving which error codes, and the second week to get shipped a genuine Nissan ancient fuel-air flow something something sensor and flushing out 20-something years of accumulated carbon gunk in the system and replacing a cracked pipe and some fluids and tuning her up just right. Over the total lifetime, this has been *the* least expensive vehicle Ive ever owned, so I dont mind the current repair cost. Very reliable, went a lot of places and hauled a lot of stuff around. Will probably sell it off in a year or so and look for a nice simple used sedan. They cave me a brand new Altima as a loaner, but damn, these new-fangled vehicles are way too computerized for me. And I love computerized stuff. So, life is semi back to semi normal.
