The Peace Friday, October 31, 2014. Year VII - National Edition THE KEYS OF WISDOM: The Reward Of Submission Is Equal To Reward From Contract. God Gives You A Family To Prepare him Against One Enemy . Mike Murdock Word of the Day: I have been crucified with Christ. Thus, no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly. (Galatians 2.20-21). 1) - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2: 8-9). REFLECTION: We all love gifts! Especially when data are true, without ulterior motives, and all we have to do is accept them. The greatest gift ever received has nothing to do with our effort. It is a gift from God. Do not deserve it, nor bought. God gave through your sacrificial gift for our salvation was not our pride, but his kindness. 2) - He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, in the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91: 1). REFLECTION: Tasks and problems of day-to-day will always exist, but the one who obeys the Lord and walk in His will, it is promised that will get rest, even if you are struggling. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Omniscient and always present: [...] All my ways you are well known. (Psalm 139: 3) What is God like? Where is he? He knows everything? Psalm 139 found in two main attributes of God, in the words of King David: Lord, you have searched me and know me You know when I sit and when I rise;.. Far you perceive my thoughts You know very well when working and when resting; all my ways you are well known. [...] Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence If I ascend into heaven, thou art there:? If I make my bed in the depths, you are there If I rise on the. wings of the morning and dwell in the edge of the sea, even there shall thy right hand shall hold me and guide me. (Psalm 139: 1-3; 7-10). From this Psalm and also other passages we learn that God is omnipresent (He is everywhere) and omniscient (He knows everything). This can be comforting or frightening. Depends on your relationship with God. If your relationship with Him is close, its very comforting to know that no matter what you face in life, God will be there to help you. Whatever happens in your life, you must remember that He gives His love with the best intentions. Remember as you go through lifes difficulties. You can be sure that will never be alone. The omniscient and omnipresent God is always by your side. QUOTE OF THE DAY: A closed mind is like a book; only one block of wood. Chinese Proverb FREE SPACE: BIBLE READING Proverbs 3.5-8 THINK AND ACT: I am the Lord your God; act as my decrees and are careful to obey my laws: (Ez 20:19). I read a story that said: One day, a calf needed to cross a virgin forest to return to its pasture. Animals being irrational, opened a whole tortuous trail, full of ups and downs. The next day, a dog traveled the same path. Then it was time for a ram, the leader of a herd, who, finding the opening, led its companions follow that way. Later, men began to use this way: they entered and left, turned sideways, let down yourself, deviated from obstacles, complaining rightly. But they did nothing to improve it. After much use, the trail turned into one lane where the pack animals toiled for three hours covering a distance that would normally take thirty minutes if they did not follow the path opened by a calf. Many years passed and the trail became the main street of a village, and later the chief of a city boulevard. Everyone complained about the traffic because the route was terrible. Meanwhile, the old and wise forest laughed to see how blind men followed the path opened without ever asking whether it would be the best choice. We do many things simply do not evaluate if it really is the best and, above all, without questioning if it is what God wants from us. The correct path is not simply follow a trail now open. Nor is the amount of activities and the ever-busy schedule. Much less is still the correct way of accommodation, not doing anything, not getting involved in anything. The Bible reading today is an arrow pointing in the right direction. Following it, we will know what to do and we will have motivation to do everything with dedication and joy. God wants to guide us - why get lost out there? PRAYER OF OUR FATHER: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy kingdom come; let it be thy will be done on earth as in heaven; our daily bread Give us this day; And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors; and let us not fall into temptation; more deliver us from evil; {For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever, Amen}. SPECIAL MESSAGE; WHEN PRIDE CALA LOVE: It is said that somewhere in China there was a wise old man who decided marital issues. It was he who blessed the couples who wanted to join and guided those who were at loggerheads, telling them whether they should be separated. Once the old man was approached by two young men who had blessed some years earlier and who now spoke in separation. The wise man, realizing that the two loved each other, saw no reason to undo the union, but could not convince them of that. Then presented them with a plan and said: This is a very sensitive plant. You should leave it in the room and when she dies, may separate. So it was done: the couple put the plant in the center of the room and stood waiting anxiously to his death. Early one morning, they both caught him with watering cans in hand, taking care of the plant. That day, loved-up as ever. The sensitive plant was actually their relationship. The love was strong enough to the point of waking them up in the dead of night. But then what was threaten that union? The pride. Pride prevents us from asking for forgiveness. Pride will not let us forgive. Pride will not let us say that we still love ...
