The Pegu Club was a Victorian-style Gentlemens club in Rangoon, Burma (now Yangon, Myanmar). It was built in the 1880s and completed in 1882 to serve the British army officers and civilian administrators after the annexation of Upper Burma in 1885. It was one of the most famous gentlemens clubs in Southeast Asia, at par with the Royal Selangor Club of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Tanglin Club in Singapore. Photo credit : en.wikipedia.org
