The Pennsylvania State Senate has put a strict limit on the total - TopicsExpress

The Pennsylvania State Senate has put a strict limit on the total sales allowed for games-of-chance. Many of our patrons enjoy these games, but they serve a higher purpose for our community. 70% of all proceeds from games-of-chance are donated to local churches, food pantries, youth organizations, fire companies, and other non-profit groups. Restrictions placed on the clubs proceeds will have a serious impact on many people. Employees will be at risk for decreased hours or permanent layoff. Vendors providing food, drink, supplies, games-of-chance, and entertainment will also feel the effects of these restrictions. In order to keep our doors open for your enjoyment, as well as continue to support many of the groups throughout the community, we ask you to contact your State Senators and Representatives. Tell them that a higher funding cap is necessary for greater support in our community. This is a state-wide issue that needs to be addressed immediately. House Bill 1313 needs our support!
