The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Bill, 2011 could not be taken up for consideration and passage in the Lok Sabha today following pandemonium over the missing files relating to allocation of coal blocks. Finance Minister P Chidambaram rose twice to move the bill, which provides for establishment of an authority to promote old age income security by developing pension funds, among others.
