The Peñas had their very first Kindergarten parent-teacher conference today. Our son is THRIVING! Let me define thriving: 1) He loves school and his classmates. It is never a struggle in the morning. 2) He can identify all his alphabets and numbers. 3) his classmates wait 20 seconds when he is asked a question so that he can answer on his iPad (this is a norm) 4) already mastered his 20 site words...so on to the next 20. And 5) he has a phenomenal teacher, awesome aides, superb supporters and the most inclusive classmates a kid (& parents) could ask for. We love you Diego!!
