The Plan : To Host a Sunshine Village Cinemas Movie Marathon screening 3 of Robin Williams Best films to raise funds for Beyond Blue and Hand Break Turn. The Challenges: Village cinema requires booking and payment of cinema hire upfront the smallest Cinema is 124 seats. If we get more people we can easily upgrade to a bigger cinema. Looking to host it on a Sunday day as nights will incur extra costs for security and daytime will be more family friendly. Ticket prices still trying to negotiate but looking at $28 pp which will include small popcorn and 600ml coke and covers the donation. The two Charities will be Beyond Blue which helps tackle Mental health issues beyondblue.org.au/ Hand Break Turn is a local organisation in our community which raises funds to provide training to troubled youth, find out more here handbraketurn.org.au/ We will need to confirm and have payment from 124 people prior in order to book and pay for the cinema.
