The Plan... We have proposed a means to: - Rebuild the Beach Club - Pay down back property taxes and avoid a Park tax foreclosure - Open areas of the Park that presently sit idle and deteriorating Without a plan to pay back the taxes, a new Beach Club cannot be built. The Trustees have no plan. This plan gives the Trustees an option to let the Park survive. The plan offers to end the dispute over the insurance proceeds from the Beach Club; in which we loan a portion of the funds to the Trustees. In the plan, a property tax payment of $480,000 would be made; eliminating over 1/2 of the existing Trustee property tax debt. Also in the plan is a payment plan that allows additional Trustee tax debt to be paid off over a reasonable period of time. The plan secures all areas of the Park needed for operation. ...and the plan does not include any housing or condominium development. A payment plan was requested of the Trustees in both 2012 and 2013. Those requests were ignored. An option is now on the table for Trustee consideration. The plan also offers to open up the now closed Water Park and Convention Hall. These Park properties have been unused for years. Wouldnt it be great to dip into the Lazy River on a 90 degree day or perhaps enjoy a indoor home show, hunter swap meet or musical event in the Convention Hall...the possibilities are endless. In a negative post from the Trustees today, they point out issues with the plan that we feel are absolutely non-issues. In the post, they failed to mention our significant financial contributions. We are constructing the Boardwalk for the Trustees, we pay over $20,000 per year to a CLJMA loan that the Trustees are responsible, we maintain Park areas for the Trustees, provide electricity, and we are rebuilding properties (that we do not own); for the betterment of all. The Trustees are being sued by the Attorney General of PA for a breach of their fiduciary duties to protect the assets of the Trust. Short of buying fire insurance, what better way is there to protect the assets of the Trust and Park? ...Prevent the loss of the Park in a tax sale!! They now have a means to that objective. NO MORE EXCUSES Trustees. Time to get something done.
