The Plead of True Love Itself, By James Darwin Smith II Seize this unknown entity coming through Know it for what it truly is This spirit has more value than this flesh Never quarantine yourself from this heart’s true consent Get to know it before judgement’s harsh treason Imprisoning those so closed in a self-despised grievance Does your soul know your flesh after all? Through confusion I have very much seen Dreams losing their grip Becoming nightmares of lost hope Only adapting the best way that they can Being oblivious in ways never seen before But love where does that come from? A subject changed through dormant metaphors Riding through mysterious walls of phantom deliriums Post -mortem of each self-dwindling As flesh owns the mentality of the dearly despaired This Ghost is not as scary as you may think The unknown better than residuals of pain A spirit lost is better than an over indulged ego gained There is nothing to blame But the natural order that supernatural dreams Become mired by the disconnection Upon the daunting task of nameless lovers To cherish pain against the unknown To be hurt rather than loved Is more evil than the heart you may have gained In the pure essence of warm intentions That has been frozen from core of love’s treacherous rebirth Where only a few handpicked angels can soar in its splendour dwelling Where are dreams to be seized? Come forth dreamers and implore Explore towards the deepest of realms Doubt should be used against those That lives in content Why must true love ever be trapped in forlorn? Words may have meaning But silence says so much more Through the true eyes of love Is a portal beyond the limits of flesh, Towards the Heavens from up above No matter how this beauty is ever perceived I am more than just flesh and bones My soul is the entity I dream to always be seen Come through this unknown I promise you will see me in ways you would have never believed Earnest in life and dreams All I ask, Look within And start believing in, me Now when you do see me from within Tell me how much of a nightmare I truly am Can you? The unknown is better than you could ever comprehend Please, Believe in, Me I was never a Phantom, After all True love that is me Do you know who I truly am anymore?
