It is no longer news that the erstwhile Chairman of Kaiama LGA has been incacerated and subsequently released based on some trumped up charges of misappropriating #500, 000. The way with which the whole thing was conducted and the speed with which he was put behind can simply be described as miscarriage of justice as he wasn"t given time to absolve himself of the charges levelled against him. Due to error of judgement on the part of the people 10 years ago, these people of dark intentions inorder to actualize their selfish desires, bamboozled the people into revolting against who would have been one of the best chairemen in recent times, and ever since, serially incompetent, ilorin annointed diffident rulers replaced each other in succession, and as usual they were selected based on their level of obsequiosness, degree of ineptitude gross poverty of leadership and near absolute lack of common sense. consequently, the local government bled as it gravitated towards social , political, educational, cultural and economic decline. The scenario can best be described as one of hoplessness, frustration, and despaire as our roads took a turn for the worse, hospital became manned by copper Doctors, total absence of pipeborn water, and the educational system began to nosedive. presently, we only hear, see or read of good governance in the mass media. very recently, i read in sahara reporters that a village head in Akwa ibom state went on a 3 months hunger strike in protest of a dilapidated high school building erected 31 years ago after the state Governor repeatedly promised to do something about it but failed to. when will our leaders in kaiama learn to empathize with their own people; when will our senators, House of rep. members, our Chairmen and Local leaders attempt to go on 5hrs hunger strike in protest of the deplorable state of our roads ; in protest of the butcher houses called Hospitals; in protest of the unacceptable epileptic power supply even though we are just 64km from Kainji dam etc. I bet you they will not and they dare not except if ordered by Bukky. Peaceful revolt against this kind of injustice, tyranny, and suppression, becomes a necessary and honourable part. We must change this present reverse gear kaiama presently is, through freeing ourselves from these local zoombies who have been obviously compromised beyound redemption. We got it wrong when we chased our own version of Buhari{Madugu} away, It therefore becomes to bring Alhaji Madugu back to Continue from Where he stopped.
