The PrairieCat servers are down, impacting several of the library’s services. You can’t access My Account in Encore to place holds, search the catalog, or renew material. Access into our other databases such as eRead Illinois, Freegal Music, Omni, World Vital Records, Consumer Reports, etc. is also blocked while the PrairieCat servers are down. Material can be borrowed or checked out, but we can not renew material, place holds or check in material. Any items due today (2 January 2015) will be checked as soon as possible with a backdated due date of 30 December 2014 to prevent items due today becoming overdue. The PrairieCat staff are working to restore the servers, hopefully accessible later today.
