The Prayer Closet Almighty God, grant us the strength to greet the coming day in peace. Help us in all things to rely on Your holy will, and reveal Your will to us every hour of the day. Bless our dealings with all people, and let our speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that we may know how we ought to answer every man that should ask a reason of the hope that is in us with meekness and fear. Teach us, O God, to treat all people who we may encounter throughout the day with peace of soul and with firm conviction that Your will governs all. In all our deeds and words, guide our thoughts and feelings, that we may not be deceived by false beauty; and be tempted to replace the truth which You have written upon the tables of our hearts with the clever words of men. In the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, we do pray and declare it all. Amen.
