The Prescription for Protection in this hour is Psalm 91. The Word of God is healing, direction and protection to those who believe and apply the Word daily. Fear has no place in the heart of the believer. The media incites fear in our country. If you have not received the free gift of salvation by inviting Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, you have a reason to be afraid. If you have received Jesus, we should be confident that Our Father will protect us in calamity and provide for us in the famine and chaos. What kind of Father would He be if He didnt take care of His children? He cannot go against His Word and He cannot lie. He said that He will never leave us or forsake us! I begin to think of how He took care of the Hebrew children in Egypt when Egypt was being shaken by the wrath of God. Not one of His children were touched by the plagues. How much more NOW that we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus will He take care of us?! Ill begin sharing with you this powerful psalm by focusing on the first three verses. I pray that your faith builds as you read and meditate and make this your daily prayer. HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. - You and I first must stay in the Lords presence. How do we do that? Keeping ourself in the Word of God and acknowledging that He is with is by giving Him glory and praise. Talking with Him throughout the day. Telling Him how much we love Him. In His presence, no enemy can touch you. Most of all, taking time to listen to His sweet somethings and His loving discipline to stay on track with His plan. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! - The psalmist said, I will say of the Lord.. What are you saying about the Lord? If weve experienced a good restaurant we tell people about it. If we know something for ourselves we keep talking about it. We must declare what we know about the Lord! We must say it and pray it! Thank You Lord, You are my refuge, my fortress, my God, my Daddy, and I trust in You! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. (Psalm 91:1-3 AMP) - I love this verse! We cant claim this verse till we are dwelling in His presence and believing He will protect us! The Scripture says then He will deliver us from snares or traps of the enemy AND from the deadly pestilence. Definition of pestilence - a deadly or virulent epidemic disease. Doesnt that sound like Ebola and all theses viruses and even cancers. Its all an epidemic. Christ followers are not to be concerned with statistics but only what the Word says.
