The Presidency: We have enough evidence that anyone can be a president and can aspire to be a President of Zambia. The calibre of the aspirants is usually influenced by how people have come to define the performance mandates of the presidency. Unfortunately thats largely influenced by the performance of the immediate past president. Now, having said that, it is also clear that the economy is at the doors of the UTH Intensive Care Unit. So for the majority of the poor Zambians, they are looking to ensure that the doctors on the other side of the ICU doors are competent and not panadol doctors but expert doctors. Doctors that understand the causes of the current illnesses of our economy. We dont need witch doctors for that, we need real doctors who are not blinded by emotions and personal gains. Its time to put Economic Doctors in power. The easiest way to unite all Zambians is to ensure each Zambian irrespective of color, creed or tribe has an improved living standard. Living standard that know No tribe, religion or family ties but just recognises the Green National Registration. Like some supporters for one presidential aspirant were hoping to say: intellect is an added advantage ( I wish they had spelled it right- but that might just be a sign of trouble ahead). Economic intellect to understand need for prudence and financial discipline. We should not have symbols of development at any cost but at the right and sustainable cost. I am voting for economic doctors and I doubt if I can entrust the responsibly at hand with anyone that contributed to the current state of our economy. These are my humble views
