The Queen visited the newly opened ” Twist Cafe and Deli ” in Falls Church, Virginia ” Twist Cafe and Deli” was inaugurated in Falls Church, Virginia where the reigning Queen of Africa, the Ethiopian born, Meron Wudneh was present. ” Twist ” which is strategically located at the Seminary Road Plaza that is within walking distances from three well established international business destinations in the Fairfax county of Virginia : the Build America at Skyline on South George Mason Drive; the International Center on Carlyn Spring Road and the famous Skyline Starbucks Coffee on Leesburg pike that got international attention after a Washington Post reporter Tara Bahrampour wrote an article in 2011 ” Immigrants gather at a Starbucks in Northern Virginia for a taste of home ” The queen who came all the way to Falls Church was not accompanied by her entourage nor wore the regalia of the Miss Africa USA. She arrived with one friend for the inauguration of the Cafe, according to Dereje Zewde (DJ), the co-founder of “Twist” who commented “she just came to congratulate a friend.” Twist Café and Deli is owned by a partnership of three business men, Kedeme Oda, an IT specialist from Virginia, Michael Ayalew, a businessman from New York and DJ. According to many people who are very familiar with the location and have patronized the Cafe in the last couple of weeks believe that ” Twist ” will do very well because of its unique menus that are being offered and also opens for breakfast in the morning at 9:00 am. DJ who is an Ethiopian born professional photographer and restaurateur who has gained prominence from his photography business and also for introducing ” Habesha Market and Carryout, ” along with his partners, the first Ethiopian carryout that has an open kitchen where customers can watch what is being cooked for them,
