The Republican imposed government shutdown wasted over $24 Billion from the economy. Those who perpetrated this blatant act of sedition need to be arrested, tried and if convicted have all their assets seized as compensation for the harm they have done. Every last member of congress that took part in this unprecedented debacle needs to be held criminally accountable! The resources realized from doing so would go a long way toward undoing some of the damage and could help to fund deserving programs like those that help homeless children. :(
