The Republicans in Congress have been promoting impeachment proceedings and a law suit against President Obama for NOT following the laws they pass. At the same time the Republicans in Congress are complaining that the President is not quickly and decisively herding all these illegal immigrant children back across the Mexican border. In 2008, Congress passed, by unanimous consent, and President Bush signed into law, a legal requirement that we must hold and care for these children and give each and every one of them a court hearing to fairly determine their status. So, the Republicans are simultaneously threatening to impeach and suit the President for not following their laws and publicly ridiculing and faulting him for following the law. I suspect the Republican threats and rhetoric are all about politics in that every member of the United States House of Representatives is up for re-election in four months. Ya Think! In the meantime, the citizen Republican Party extremists are dressed in camo and on the United States-Mexico border using their hunting rifles to threaten children to stay away. ~ John Donaldson, July 13, 2014
