Dear Sir After the partition of India in 1947 millions of Indian Muslim crossed over to Pakistan and most of them settled in Karachi and other parts of urban sindh. They being educated, enlightened, and trained took over the administration and built the infrastructure in Pakistan. But soon after, the founder of Pakistan being Mohajir, (immigrant) Mohammed Ali Jinnah, was killed and then Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan (immigrant too), the First Prime Minister was killed by the Pakistan establishment. Then the successive governments under General Mohammed Ayub Khan, General Yahya Khan, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, and General Ziaul Haq all Presidents of the country sacked all immigrant employees and beaurocrats. Then the establishment fixed quota system in the employment depriving Mohajir and Urdu speaking,particularly those living in Karachi and other parts of Sindh. In Karachi during the regime of General Ayub Khan hundreds of Urdu Speaking innocent people were killed and their property looked by Pakistan. To brave these cruelties, Mohajir Qaumi Movements (MQM) under the leadership of Mr. Altaf Hussain came into being and within a short span of time he became the most popular and leader of all Mohajirs, who ever gave full support in all elections to the assemblies and local bodies since 1985. Mr. Altaf Hussain devoted his days and night and life to emancipate all his people from the brutalities of the establishment. But as soon as MQM emerged as the sole representative of Mohajirs, the brutalities inversed and hurdreals of young men and workers were killed in an ambushed in 1985, 1990, 1991. In 1992 the then army Chief of Pakistan, General Asif Nawaz Janjua killed 17 thousand innocent young of MQM workers. In this operation Mr. Altaf’s brother Mr. Nasir Hussain and young nephew Mr. Arif Hussain were brutally killed and their bodies wer found in gunny bags. In the era of Bengazir Bhutto, the Prime Minister General Naseeruddin and Shoaib Suddle carried out the Operation and still killed hundreds of MQM workers.( feeling his life in danger MQM workers sent the leader and founder of party Mr. Altaf Hussain to the U.K in 1992, where he is still in the shelter of the U.K) He is guiding MQM and his lover people from there: MQM was blamed by the army to make conspiracy to cut-out Jinnahpur from Pakistan, but later on contradicted and recently, now they have made another unfounded blame that the MQM hold formed Mohajir Liberation Army. From time to time establishment of the country charges MQM with different baseless allegations including lose majesty. Hundreds of urdu speeking shias are being massacred. Talbans,Al-Qaeda and Lushkers have captured Karachi wreaking havoc in the city. Now another phenomenon of brutality has started for the last 5 years. And that is kidnapping ransom for urdu speaking people including traders. So far hundred of traders and other people have been killed by the extortionists and terrorists backed by the government. Now the Mohajir & MQM have become helpless and it isfeared that our races will be wiped out on ethnical basis. We request your honor to come to our rescue to save our human rights.
