The Revd Julien K. C. Ciakudia Sr, Brief Presentation Mr Julien K. C. Ciakudia is a Pan-Africanist, an Anglican pastor, specialist of African liberation theology and sociology trained at University of Montreal, Canada. First black pastor of the Norwegian State church in charge of refugees and immigrants, international lobbyist and chairman of Freedom Flag Foundation (FFF), an international NGO founded in Oslo, Norway (1998) to promote human rights, democracy, good governance for Sustainable development in Africa. Revd. Julien Ciakudia has been supportive to the liberation struggles of many countries as those of Haitian people from Montreal, Canada, which gave political power to President Jean Bertrand Aristide. From his exile in Oslo with the umbrella of Norwegian NGO’s, he worked for the Liberation of Palestine of Yasser Arafat, with the ANC representative in Oslo and comrades, he was active in the strategies and action to end the apartheid regime in South Africa and for the liberation of Nelson Mandela. He also have been active at the Round Table Conference on Angola (September 1995), in Brussels, Belgium, called by EU and UNDP to find all means to boost Angola after a devastate war, and have deployed an intensive international lobbying to end Mobutu dictatorship in ex-Zaire.. For more than 20 years, Mr Ciakudia has travelled widely accomplishing lobbying missions in the capitals of the 3 continents and has constitute an important address book for contacts in Africa region, Europe and North America. Due to his wide knowledge of Africa in general, the DR Congo and problematic of African Great Lakes in particular, he has been an independent Consultant for the international deciders , institutions and media on the African actuality proposing strategic solutions to issues that span much of political life in the DR Congo and Africa in the immediate history. In the beginning of event of the Nelson Mandela in 1994, by the invitation of his black South African comrades, he has been seen taking an active role to the political consultations with the Parliamentary Committee on foreign Affairs in Cape Town, having strategic discussions with the late Foreign minister Alfred N’Zo, the newly installed authorities of ANC and the presidency of the first black government of the post-apartheid South Africa. Because of his historic strong link with the South Africa since the struggle and international boycott to end apartheid with the Norwegian and South African organisations from Oslo, The Reverend Ciakudia has been associated by the new South African authority from 1994 to today, to the preparation of historic events in the evolution of his home country, the DR Congo; with its high culmination : The personal engagement of president Nelson Mandela in Congo-Zaire mediation and his role in the talk Mobutu – Laurent –Desire Kabila on Outeniqua, the fall of long life dictator president Mobutu and the event of Laurent Desire Kabila in 1997. Considering the tragic situation of the genocide and occupation of DRC by the neighbouring countries since1998 Mr Julien Ciakudia has established from London, UK a worldwide Congolese patriotic resistant movement and the Government of DR Congo in Exile to lobby the UK , Europe and USA authorities and the entire international community for the end of DR Congo humanitarian crisis and for the immediate establishment of the International Tribunal for Congo as it was for Rwanda and Sierra Leone. When speaking on Africa, the Great Lakes Sub- region of Africa and the Congo, the Reverend Professor Julien K. C. Ciakudia is a living library on the matters. After the promulgation of February 2014’s Amnesty law, as National President of Union of Patriots for the Republic (UPR), Prof. Rev. Julien K. C. Ciakudia encouraged by many compatriots around the world as well as by his African friends and his friends in Europe, Scandinavia, Canada, US and UK, he has accepted to end his 10 years voluntary asylum in London, UK and run as Presidential Candidate to 2016 election in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
