The Rumour in Kaduna and Kano State and right now spreading like wild fire through Northern Nigeria is that President Goodluck Jonathan died yesterday in a Plane crash, car crash or ate some poisonous food and dropped dead. I received several phone calls yesterday from Kaduna, Zaria and Kano, and I explained to the callers that the president, as far as I know, is ok because if he is not, it would have definitely been in the media, especially death. I also took time to inform those on Facebook and Twitter that the president is cool. Yet the rumour keeps going round and round around in the North. Now some people are asking, where is the president? How am I supposed to know the whereabout of the president? Am I among his security personnel?
