The S. Clyde Weaver employee family wants to express our deepest condolences to the family of Nicole Mathewson. Nicole was not only a beloved 6th grade teacher, but she also shared her gift of serving with S. Clyde Weaver by working Saturdays at our Central Market location. We pray for comfort as her many family members and friends grieve the loss of this incredible woman. We struggle to know how to best honor Nicole in the midst of this tragedy. Here are some words from S. Clyde Weaver employees who worked with her: • Nicole was so outgoing and friendly…very personable. • Nicole was a genuine person with a special personality that you rarely find anymore. • She made us smile even at the early hours with singing and stories of her teaching. • Nicole knew so many people at market and loved the conversations with them. • When one of Nicole’s students would see her in market, they would beam and run up to greet her. • Nicole loved teaching and her students…she often talked about her students. • Nicole was such a sweet girl…energetic and friendly. • Nicole was a great part of our team and loved serving others.
