The SPPOT Sponsored Dog Walk is now really starting to gather pace as we really hoped it would. If you are within driving distance please come along if you can, and if you cant please please consider sponsoring our learners, who have long term illnesses and disabilities, in their bid to fund their own training, to become professional, voluntary dog walkers, day carers and home boarders, often helping elderly and disabled people with their dogs too. There is currently no centralised funding of any sort, just a small grant we have that will cover around 40% of the training for 12-20 new learners (depending how much funding we can raise) - so we now need to fundraise for the remaining 60%.
