The Sacramento Childrens Home is committed to helping build strong families; to opening doors to the future; to maximizing potential; and ending the cycle of child abuse. The Sacramento Childrens Home provides care to the most vulnerable children and families in the Sacramento community. Established in 1867, the Sacramento Childrens Home has always been deeply committed to the care of children and families. Our community-based, residential and educational programs address the issues of children, newborn to 21, and range from prevention of child abuse and parenting education, to acute trauma treatment. The Sacramento Childrens Home operates Sacramentos only Crisis Nursery Programs. Our mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect by providing support to families at times of crisis. The Sacramento Crisis Nursery Program is a family strengthening program where families can bring their children, newborn through age 5 for emergency child care or overnight care during stressful or difficult times. Current Openings: • Child Care Workers (Substitute Openings at the Crisis Nursery North) • Child Care Workers (Substitute Openings at the Crisis Nursery South) • Child Care Worker (Part Time Opening at the Crisis Nursery South) • Lead Child Care Worker (Part Time Opening at the Crisis Nursery North)
