The Saint Marys campus community witnessed the world premiere of Carol of the Shepherds, a beautiful piece of Christmas music, composed by instructor of science Kevin B. Greenwood, and performed by Saint Marys faculty/staff chorale and instrumental ensemble at the annual Christmas carol sing service, under the direction of Jennifer Moran, Saint Marys Chapel. Our normal guideline is no applause for music in chapel services, as it is considered an offering to the glory of God, not performance as on a regular stage. We made a happy exception in this special case. The students leaped to their feet applauding in support of one of their favorite teachers. For many reasons, it was a magical Saint Marys moment!
