The Sandy Hook shooting was tragic but a class-action lawsuit suing the gun manufacturer seems like desperation & potential money grab. No amount of awarded settlement will bring back the children & teacher killed that day. No amount of money will heal the families suffering & loss. America at its finest, suing the crap out of parties who had no control over how their product was used. The families need to go higher up the ladder, to the top. Dont sue at the manufacturing, distribution & dealer level, sue Congress for permitting such assault rifles to be legal in the public sector. Take on your countrys constitution & challenge the Second Amendment to get limitations put in place, challenge your gun laws. In the end, it doesnt matter who you sue, there will always be a guns floating around that disturbed people can get their hands on. Its irrelevant that a U.S. Military specd assault rifle was used, a hand gun could yield the same results, they both kill! Just imagine being one of those plaintiffs, having to listen & give testimony, reliving the continued nightmare of losing your child. How will you feel if you lose the suit? Tortured, more wrongly done by, angry? And what if you win? Will you celebrate with the potential financial windfall? Will more money change how you live? Will you buy items you wouldnt have bought otherwise? I really question the motive in a lot of class-action lawsuits. Who started the car & whos driving?
