The Santa Claus Holiday tournament has concluded with the Wichita, Kansas team of Jim and Cori Hudson and Rob and Tracy Prather winning the team event. The team was sparked by Rob Prathers 300 game and 792 series. Jim and Tracy teamed up for the doubles title topped by Tracys big 768 scratch series. Cody Elliott from Cleo Springs took the singles title with Jim Hudson winning the all events that included a high series of 781. A similar tournament, the Les and JoAnn Valentine tournament will run from January 17 through February 15. This tournament will have two divisions, the open division and a special senior division. Senior division teams must have an average age of 60 or more and the doubles bowlers averaging 60 or more. Bowlers in the special senior singles must be 60 or older. This weekend we have our Alibi Singles tournament with shift times on Saturday being at 1pm-3pm-5pm and Sunday 1pm and 3pm. Bowl 4 games and throw out your lowest game. Jim Hudson continued his great bowling at Lucas Lanes on Monday night rolling his 2nd 300 game of the season and an 813 series. There were a record number of 700s in the league this week including Holli McCarty with her highest series at Lucas Lanes with 288-775.
