The Saturday class is shaping up to be a great class. Everyone is doing a great job with their dogs. The downs, which is the tougher of the commands, are coming along great. Lisa with Lexx the Pyrenees has shown so much improvement since his first day. He wasnt crazy about walking on a leash but now hes doing so without a fight. Hes so laid back and easy going he just lumbers along. Such a nice attitude. Lynnes poodles, one being worked by Heather Baker from Paws & Claws of Morganton and the other by Lynne, are so cute and they just move right along like little show dogs! Great job guys. Meghan and Bella are doing wonderful. They are our advance students and to see Bella do her commands so sharp and quick, especially the downs! She just hits the floor with so much enthusiasm and her recall is outstanding. She watches and pays attention so well. That is what its all about and what we are striving for from all of our students. Anne with Della has made great strides in 2 weeks. Della who was so fearful and wanted no part of walking on a leash or being around other dogs is starting to shine. She is such a pretty girl and shows great promise. Susan and Dakota...so proud of them. She has Dakota doing his downs!!! It may not sound like a big deal, but he was non submissive and refused to down. But now! Susan is doing a wonderful job with her white furball lol. Jennifer and her great looking German Shepherd Indy will be super stars. Indy is only 14 weeks and he has shown so much potential. He is heeling, sitting, downing and his stays are great, especially for a young dog! He also does a great recall! Watches his handler waiting for the next command. We expect great things from them. Shana Proffitts young son is doing a good job with Athena the Border Collie. Shes another young pup that has great potential. Things are really coming together for them. Her handler improves as much as she does every week. Shanna is handling her moms young Shih Tzu Bo. Another great job. Hes looking good, will be nice for her mom to walk him without a fight. Jane and Abbie are the dynamic duo! Abbie is a dynamo with lots of energy and has improved from the timid I dont want to do this to the this is fun mom. Shes a Golden Doodle that will bring a smile to your face just to look at her. She is a happy dog! We expect some great things from them as well! We missed Monica with Buddy this week, but they too have shown great potential. Looking forward to next weeks class! Like a good book, the class gets better and better the more you get into it. :)
