The Scottish people have gone , soon to be replaced some more Scottish people , in summation i have conculded three things about Scottish people ( some of my freinds are Scottish and all i can say in your defence is remember Culloden ) 1 They dont like vegetables in any way shape or form. This week i have scraped nearly every vegetable served into the bin after diner. 2 Manners seem to be something as rare to the Scot as rocking horse shit. This week i have been sworn at on numerous occassions ( usually related to the serving of vegetables at dinner ) and generally witnessed poor performance on the social grace scale ( yet again i witnessed a gentleman attempting to eat his main course with his desert spoon.) 3. Personal hygiene is something yet to become popular north of the border ( my poor chambermaids are also witnessing this as we speak whilst cleaning their vacated rooms , several of them expressing their surprise through the medium of vomiting and general tearfulness) I only hope that the next coach load prove me wrong or its going to be another long, torturous week .
