The Scrap Bar was this really tiny hole in the wall bar located on Macdougal Street (no sign out front, YOU HAD TO KNOW THE ADDRESS). how they ever got bands to play on that tiny stage in that place is beyond me because it was sooooo small. the bar became famous because tons of bands and celebrities starting hanging out there and it kind of just took off. my most "out there" moment at scrap bar was going to the bar to get a drink and looking to my right to see Tim Burton righting furiously on pieces of notebook paper while surveying the crowd..hmmn.....
