The Screams of Winter Im a man stranded in the cold Lost... No food or water... Ive lost all hope to live Ready for the reaper to claim my soul I look into his eyes as Im near death He asks Are you ready? I reply Ye... Before I could finish an angel comes to my aid and nurses me back to health From that moment I fell in the black hole of love never to return This angel had the face of pure beauty The body of perfect architecture And the heart of gold Her voice sends me into day dreams Just the sight of her makes me wana wait for heaven Her touch gives me chills Deep breathe As every breathe I take my heart grows cold She gives a different pleasure to a frost bite She loves me back for the human I am And I fall of the cliff of Mount Everest I fall deep...and I dont want to climb out But little did I know the angel of my dreams was dealing with heart burn The more she loved me The more she lost herself And the hotter it got And slowly she started to melt She loves me a lot but also loves herself enough not to let herself evaporate So she holds me tight and tells me she loves me and.......always will I knew then that my winter was over My beautiful white world was being blended with colors I did not want So I rip out my heart and I tell her to take it She looks at it and then at me and smiles with a tear dropping down her face that sparkle like the crystals sugar Then turns away and flies never to return And I sit with my frozen heart in hand and watches it shatter to nothing Then I scream but she cant hear it because winter.....is over! -David Harris
