The Scripture from todays reading comes from Deuteronomy 27:26 which reads, Cursed is he who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen. This immediately brings me to a Scripture we read last week from Deuteronomy 21:23 which states cursed in the one who hangs on a tree with its fulfillment in Galatians 3:13. Cursed are those who do not keep the Law and James 2:10 tells us that if we keep the Law perfectly in all areas but one we are under judgment. Todays Scripture simply reminds me that of all Gods commandments, everyone would be guilty of falling under Gods curse which is judgment for at least failing in one area, but the good news through Jesus Christ there is now no longer any condemnation for those who are in Him!!! He was cursed for us so we do not have to be cursed and fall under Gods eternal judgment! How do you and I respond to that? Just praise Him today and live for Him!!!
