The Second Cricket Test at Lords 18th July 2013, Australian - TopicsExpress

The Second Cricket Test at Lords 18th July 2013, Australian date. I have downloaded a photograph from the internet of the Australian Eleven Hotel at Redfern in Sydney, NSW, Australia, named after the Austtralian eleven test cricketers. who were the pride of our nation at the time. To have a building named after you does not come every day. To have a new update of the original building and its name is something special. In todays world of instant this and instant that we watch a sport event on TV and the adds quickly follow for some TV show that rates in national pride no where near the sporting event being broadcast, or just watched. There are the one day, two day, three day and I am sure in the future the 6th one day Cricket tests and this will be followed by the 7th day cricket for there is no rest day for the wicked. Bumper to bumper cricket all year round. Some players play this and some players play that, the public are lost and so the players also become lost in their priorites of greatness and the meaning of their sport and the history they are the cricket Knights on both sides to uphold and protect. The Tour de France and Test Cricket are brothers in arms. Great sporting specticles for the public supported by great national pride for the competing countries. Both events are about time, timing, time in and time out. Victory does not come easy, because the event takes time, days and mother nature, can cause all sorts of problems to overcome. No TV channel can say watch this and that to follow before the sporting test is over to sink and belittle the greatness of the g event being listened to and watched, to somehow place it in a supermarket space shelf type space of national pride, because its not all over in a few hours, or a day, it can take days, that can become weeks, and thats the challenge to overcome. I have exhumed these old drawings for public view for the first time, sure they are not of the discovery of a new moon on a planet or ancient bones of some extinct creature on planet earth. They do represent the greatness of test cricket in Australia, when we built our society on pride and goodwill, sure we did not do so good with our aboriginal Australian family but are presently trying to fix that. Interestingly The Australian Eleven Hotel was at Redfern, in Sydney. As I said these old drawings via photograps I took of them have never been seen in public before. I am sure that the Australian Eleven test team also have something unique to offer that also has never been seen in public before in the 2nd test at Lords starting tonight, 18th July Sydney time, the same time as the magnificent Tour de France race unfolds before our eyes and pushes on up into the alps. Its a busy time for sports lovers who have the rare opertunity to step out from the world we seem to live in of instant this and instant that and take time out to smell the roses and enjoy a great sporting mystery that only the combined efforts of Sherlock Holmes and Inspector Clousea will solve with time.
