The Secret Place in Prayers 1. Prayer is accessing and dwelling in God’s secret place 2. Only those that accesses and dwells in God’s secret place have a right to abide under His shadow 3. This is so because God dwells in the secret and we can only access Him there (Isaiah 8:17-20) 4. Great men of prayers does not joke with the secret place in prayers 5. Jesus confirmed this by saying it (Matthew 6) and practicing it (John 18:1-2) 6. A secret place is not where everyone has access to; the reason therefore why you can pray without the entire world knowing 7. Jesus likened praying in the open(market Place) as hypocritical (Matthew 6:2) 8. Great edifices are conceived in the secret before they manifest in the open 9. Every prayer that has ever been prayed that made great men great was offered in their secret places. 10. Greatness is conceived in the secret to manifest in the open. Same with Prayers 11. You can’t make much of prayers without taking advantage of the secret place. 12. Speaking to men is in the open, speaking to God is in the secret. 13. Hannah prayed in the secret of her heart (1 Samuel 1:9-13) The same with Jabez, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel, Jonah, The Apostles and every great men in the Bible time and in our contemporary world. 14. The 18 hours drawn out vision by my father in the faith Bishop David Oyedepo that led to the birth of the ministry God called him to was in the secret 15. There is nothing wrong with praying and been heard, but prayers prayed in the secret are prayers that is rooted in your heart and directed to God. It is a heart to heaven connection in prayers. 16. As we pray therefore, let us take advantage of the secret place – that is how to get answer to our prayers. 17. Receive Grace therefore from God to make the most of the secret place in your prayers.
